I hope by this time next year this book will be well worn from being carried around Spain in my bag! Jan 05, Richard Newbold rated it liked it.

Andalucia - Costa tropical y del sol - Que hacer en España #1 - Lecciones de Viaje

Pocket largish sized guide to Andalucia, which immediately poses a problem as it's geographically and culturally a very large area. Very much an "edited highlights" volume, and when space is short it's often a very similar potted description for each of the numerous white towns, hilltop, white houses, beautiful churches, which doesn't use the limited space available efficiently.

About Spain and Portugal

The most useful thing for me was the map! I borrowed this book from the library ahead of a trip to my in-laws house in a small Andalucian village- I don't think I would borrow it again for any future trips. Decent enough as an illustrated taster before you go and inspiration, but not a substitute for detail and insights of a 'real' guidebook.

Nevertheless, our copy was priced fairly so not begrudged. Note that 'free map' is just a reprint of the foldout cover. Nice try. A top 10 list of many things. What makes the list?
